# Jobs

Jobs are a dated sample from career pages, not a live vacancy list. Each posting has an
`observed_on` date and a `status` of `open`, `closed` or `unknown`.

## List jobs

`GET /api/v1/jobs` needs at least one of `company`, `q` or `location`. A page costs 1 credit.

| Parameter         | Meaning                                   |
| ----------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| `company`         | Company slug or id. Includes subsidiaries |
| `q`               | Words in the job title                    |
| `location`        | Location text                             |
| `status`          | `open`, `closed` or `unknown`             |
| `limit`, `cursor` | Page size 1 to 100 and the next page      |

Results are newest first and stop at **1,000 results** per query. Past that the response has
`truncated: true` and `bulk.email` is `hello@defdex.io`.

## Get one job

`GET /api/v1/jobs/{id}` returns the posting with its description. The id is a UUID from the
list. It costs 1 credit.
